Paper Crane Party is DONE! Etsy Shop is Open!

…and I’m nervous.  The photo shoot was this past Sunday and my friend and awesome photographer Chris Latham of Chris Latham Photography took the shots.  I think everything came out perfect. Don’t you? Can you believe that’s my dining room? I can’t.  Chris worked some magic. Check him out on Flickr too.  I can’t say enough nice things about Chris.  Sweetest person on the planet, but I’m not sappy so I can’t go any further.  You get the picture.

For my first dessert table and first Etsy party collection, I chose to do a Paper Crane Theme.  This would work just as well for a baby shower, wedding or engagement party as it would for a little girl’s birthday party. Everything here is PRINTABLE.  You purchase the PDF file and print everything at home.  This too… could be your party. lol. But seriously…

The colors were pink, orange and yellow and obviously I had some paper cranes woven in there.

I was fortunate enough to have generous donations from three Denver bakeries: Gateaux, Lovely Confections, and Cake Crumbs.

Gateaux donated these perfect shortbread tea cookies that they matched EXACTLY to a pdf of my invitations.  They looked awesome, not to mention SOOO good. You can see my printable Paper Crane Labels in the background.

AND check out these cupcakes from Lovely Confections.  The sprinkles matched the theme exactly and the off white of the frosting – which I never see – was so pretty.  Also, everything is organic and made with local ingredients. These were great – sweet, but not too sweet and for some reason it seemed like you didn’t have to feel that guilty eating them.  Here they are:

Last but not least, Cake Crumbs.  They gave super bright, orange and pink sugar cookies, (yum!) and brilliantly colored cupcakes to go with. Look at these…gorgeous!  They were right on with the theme and sparkly and really, really good.  I think they make my cupcake toppers look extra awesome.  See?
